La Gomera - Tecina Golf
Tecina Golf is the only golf course on the island of La Gomera. Located in the south of the island, on the top of a cliff, you could enjoy the wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Teide, the large volcano on the island of Tenerife, surrounded by clouds.
This course was designed by Donald Steel and opened in 2007. It is a young course, built in terrace form on the beach in Santiago, starting the game on top to go down gradually toward the Club House. The 18 holes of the golf course have spectacular sea views, something hard to find in other courses.
The fairways are wide, with few obstacles and few traps. There are no water hazards. The greens are large, with just a few slopes. It looks like a botanical garden, well-kept and with nice greenery and flowers. It is an appropriate course for all players where you can play by walk.
