Gran Canaria - Salobre South (Old Course) Golf

Salobre Golf is a golf club with two 18-hole courses: the Old Course designed by Roland Favre and opened in 1999 and the New Course was designed by Ron Kirby and opened in 2008. The tees and fairways of both courses are Bermuda grass variety, while the greens are Agrostis variety.

The two courses are integrated perfectly into the landscape. While on the Old Course the fairways are flat and it has elevated tees, in the case of the New Course, the holes are located in a small canyon with several doglegs and fairways with steep slopes. It's a challenge, requiring very accurate shots and go straight to the driver. Its design is unique in an environment of wild nature.
The Old Course is more relaxed, suitable for all the handicaps, with wide fairways and it can be played walking, while the New course, because of its steep slopes, we recommend the use of buggy.
