Gran Canaria - Meloneras Golf

Meloneras Golf is a course located on the coast of Meloneras, between Maspalomas Natural Park and the harbour Pasito Blanco, in the south of the island of Gran Canaria. It was designed by Ron Kirby and is a Par 71 suitable for all the handicaps.

It is a broad and balanced course, with wide and flat fairways. The course has two very different parts: the front nine holes are narrower and with trees, while the back nine holes have wider and longer fairways, running closer to the sea. In fact, 13 to 16 holes run parallel to the coast and almost at sea level. In these holes it is necessary to pay attention to the tee shots or your ball will end in the ocean. The views of the Atlantic Ocean are spectacular, being one of the few courses that have several of the holes at sea level.
Another advantage is that thanks to the refreshing sea breeze, is very pleasant to play in summer. Moreover, they care to the maintenance and their installations are very complete. If we add the excellent care from the staff, we can talk about one of the best courses on the island.
