Gran Canaria - Maspalomas Golf

Maspalomas Golf is located in the southwest of the island of Gran Canaria, surrounded by dunes, the main feature of this course, designed by Mackenzie Ross in 1963. These dunes surrounding the course belong to the natural park of the Maspalomas Dunes, area protected with more than 400 hectares. Being a plain course, the sea views are more limited, however, you can see on the horizon and above all, you can feel it: the sea breeze, influenced by the trade winds, makes it very nice to play in this course, even in the summer months.

It is a long course, par 73, where the Par 3 holes are for recovery, while Par 4 and Par 5 are more complicated. However, despite the length of the course, it is not a difficult course, because their fairways are flat and considerable width. However, if the day is windy, the course increases its difficulty, but also fun grows because some holes become a major challenge. In short, it's an appropriate course for all players and you can play walking due to absence of slopes.
