Fuerteventura - Las Playitas Golf

Playitas Golf Course is the youngest course in Fuerteventura. Opened in 2009, the Scottish designer John Chilver-Stainer, sought a design course that was noble and suitable for all the handicaps, but at the same time exigent with the low handicaps.

The course uses the natural hills and valleys, so the fairways are undulated and there are also ravines that come into play on 13 of the 18 holes. The wind is the protagonist, in holes such as hole 3, par 4, 300 meters of altitude. At the same time, these ups and downs make stunning views in some places, where the bright blue sea contrasts with the green of the fairway and the black volcanic sand.
It is an original course because of the length, short, with eight Par 3, seven Par 4 and three Par 5. The game is fun, because you will use many different clubs and is an ideal place for lovers of golf short games. The greens, small, fast and undulating Bent grass variety, require good approach shots and a loss of concentration can easily entail three putts.
