Gran Canaria - El Cortijo Club de Campo
El Cortijo Club de Campo is a golf course designed by Blake Stirling & Martin Marco and it is located twelve minutes away from the capital of the island of Gran Canaria. Located in a former farm that runs over three valleys, it has managed to integrate the golf course in an existing palm grove centenary.
This effort of integration in the landscape was awarded with the TÜV seal ISO 14001 environmental management. It hosted the European Tour in 2002, winning the championship course Sergio Garcia.
El Cortijo Club de campo doesn’t have sea views, but we must not lose concentration: there are many traps and 4 lakes will affect your game on 8 of the 18 holes.
This golf course is especially advisable for middle and low handicappers.
