Tenerife - Amarilla Golf

Amarilla Golf is located near the sea in the south of Tenerife, next to the harbour Marina de San Miguel and the airport. The views of the Atlantic Ocean and the majestic Mount Teide could cause a significant lack of concentration on your game...

The course, opened in 1989 and designed by Donald Steel, has 2 courses: an 18-hole, Par 71, and a Pitch & Putt 9 holes, perfect for a warm-up round or for improving your short game. It hosted the Tenerife Open in 1990, belonging to the European Tour championship course.
In the 5th hole it is necessary to fly over the sea cliff to cliff to reach the fairway. The fairways are flat, some slightly cramped, but suitable for all the handicaps. The greens are large and well maintained. It is not a long course, so it is not necessary to be a big puncher. It is a course that can be played by walk.
